  1. OPERATION


    1. When the flow shutting valve (water valve) is closed and electric current is applied, a magnetic field is generated between the yoke, valve and core, which keeps the valve closed.

    2. When there is no current applied to the flow shutting valve (water valve) and the water pump operates, the valve opens due to engine coolant pressure.

    3. The opened valve remains open until the engine coolant flow stops.
