AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SYSTEM


  1. OUTLINE


    1. A UA80E 8-speed Automatic Transaxle (Direct Shift-8AT) is used.

    2. A gate type shift lever is used.

    3. A multi-mode automatic transmission is used.

    4. A differential pre-torque mechanism is used. Straightline stability and acceleration performance during periods of low load and low differential rotation when the vehicle is being driven normally are ensured.

    5. An oil pump with solenoid assembly ensures the oil pressure in order to achieve shock reduction and responsiveness when starting the engine from an idling stop. As a result, a smooth start off is made possible. For details, refer to IDLING STOP CONTROL.
