  1. OPERATION


    1. The fuel pump is controlled by the ECM. Fuel pump control has a fuel cut control function. Fuel cut control stops the fuel pump when any of the SRS airbags has deployed.


      1. When the ECM detects the airbag deployment signal from the airbag ECU assembly, the ECM will turn the C/OPEN relay off. After fuel cut control has been activated, turning the engine switch from off to on (IG) cancels fuel cut control, and the engine can be restarted.
