OUTLINE
Lightweight and Highly Rigid Body
High-strength steel and ultra high-strength steel are used in order to achieve excellent body rigidity and a lightweight body.
Safety Features
The impact absorbing structure minimizes cabin deformation by effectively helping to absorb the impact energy in the event of a front, side or rear collision. This provides high performance occupant protection.
Rust-resistant Body
Rust-resistant performance is enhanced by the extensive use of anti-corrosion sheet steel, as well as by an anticorrosion treatment that includes the application of anti-rust wax, sealer and anti-chipping paint to the easily corroded parts such as the hood and fender.
Low Vibration and Low Noise Body
Effective application of vibration damping and noise suppressant materials reduces engine, wind and road noise.
Aerodynamics
Various types of airflow routing parts that control airflow are provided under the floor, and an undercover is provided to make the under-floor area flat in order to ensure excellent aerodynamic performance.
MAIN FEATURES
Exterior Design (ALPHARD)
Front View
The center of the radiator grille is pushed outwards and emphasizing the three-dimensional structure on a horizontal axis that runs through from the emblem to the lights and shoulder line, expresses a dynamic impression.
The radiator grille has been given a stepped cross-section, expressing excellent workmanship and giving the impression of protruding more than the actual dimensions.
Chrome ornamentation continuing from the headlights, together with the large vertically-themed radiator grille, give the front face a dignified expression.

Headlight
The chrome ornamentation is sandwiched by the lights, making them look slim to express an advanced impression (A in illustration).
Horizontal two projector lights create a vigorous gaze, realizing both an impressive and advanced impression characteristic of a luxury vehicle (B in illustration).
The lower light features dual linear light-guiding illumination, expressing an advanced impression (C in illustration).

Rear View
The horizontally long garnish extends above the lights, giving a wide and powerful impression (A in illustration).
The three-dimensional L-shaped lights are arranged below the garnish, giving the impression of interlocking with the garnish and accentuating the low stance (B in illustration).
Rear Combination Light
The two shapes of the top and bottom inner lenses come and go, accentuating the presence both when illuminated and not illuminated.
Exterior Design (VELLFIRE)
Front View
The upper and lower parts of the three-dimensional two-part structure continuing into the fenders have been given a clearer expression at the front, strengthening the body's overall sense of unity. This accentuates the rearward-flowing dynamic design, and the powerful solid impression of the lower body (A in illustration).
The thin upper part creates an advanced look, while the thick lower part creates a powerful look. These bold proportions help to express the VELLFIRE's distinctive strongly pushed-outward impression (B in illustration).
From the hood to the bumper, the structure is integrated into a single ingot-shaped* radiator grille design, accentuating the pushed-outwards impression of the center and expressing modern luxury in a solid form (A in illustration).
Tech Tips
*: Ingot = Solid block of metal
Low-positioned fog light bezels, together with the flared form of the corners, accentuate the wide and low stance. The aggressively shaped triangular fog light bezels gives the bumper corners a dynamic impression (B in illustration).
Large headlights expressing a sharp piercing gaze accentuate the two-part structure that symbolizes the vehicle's identity.
Headlight
The upper headlight features a main unit which incorporates two square projectors. Together with the blue accent of the extension, this creates a cool expression and an advanced tech image.
Rear View
The garnish continues from the belt line, creating an effortless flow in the side view and a wide impression in the rear view.
The upper and lower parts of the light sandwich the garnish extending across the horizontal axis, creating a two-part structure that echoes the design of the headlights and strengthens the VELLFIRE's distinctive presence.
Rear Combination Light
The two-part rear combination lights feature square inner lenses, expressing a cool and sharp impression.
The distinctive illumination emphasizes the square design so that the vehicle is easily recognizable as a VELLFIRE even at night.
