      2. Slide Mechanism (Manual Captain Seat)

        • A side-sliding mechanism is used in the captain seats. As a result, the seat can be slid (approximately 90 mm) toward the center of the vehicle, and can be slid far to the front and rear (maximum of approximately 828 mm*).

          Tech Tips

*: On models with front passenger super long slide seat, slide to the front and rear maximum of approximately 1164 mm.

        • Sliding to the side is performed using the seat track handle control lever. When the seat track handle control lever is pulled to the first position, the seat can slide to the front and rear. When pulled to the second position, the lock lever engaged with the slide rail is released, and the seat can then slide to the side.

        • On models with manual captain seat or executive captain seat, when using the rear seat side table assembly, raise the lower portion of the table to a horizontal position from a retracted state.

        • On models with an executive lounge captain seat, when using the side table, press the button and pull the side table out of the armrest. The side table has a sliding mechanism and the slide width is 67 mm.

        • A cup holder and convenience hook are provided for the side table of the manual captain seat or executive captain seat.

      4. Ottoman

        • A storage type ottoman is used under the rear No. 1 seat.

        • A manual adjustment type ottoman is used for the manual captain seat. Furthermore, the reclining angle of the ottoman is 73°.

        • An electric adjustment type ottoman is used for the executive captain seat. Furthermore, the reclining angle of the ottoman is 50.7°.

        • An electric adjustment type ottoman is used for the executive lounge captain seat. Also, the ottoman uses a structure which allows for lift/storage adjustment and extension/contraction adjustment, and has a lift angle of 78° and an extension/contraction length of 140 mm.

        • The ottoman on models with an executive lounge captain seat is equipped with an interference avoidance function which stops operations from causing the ottoman to contact the floor, such as when a storage operation is performed with the ottoman fully extended.

        • An interference avoidance line, which represents a possible danger of interference due to the relationship between the lift/storage angle and extension/contraction length, is provided for the interference avoidance function of the ottoman. The function operates to avoid interference according to switch operation. The following are operation examples.

      5. Electric Type Slide Lock Mechanism (Models with Executive Lounge Captain Seat)

        • When the slide lock is released by slide lock release lever operation (lever pulled up) and walk-in switch operation, the slide lock release motor pulls the slide lock cable of the seat leg to release the slide lock. Furthermore, the slide operation is performed manually and the slide width is 496 mm.

        • When the slide lock release lever is released or the walk-in return switch is operated, the slide lock release motor operates in reverse to lock the slide lock. Furthermore, the slide rail and lock may not engage due to the relative position of the seat leg and slide rail, even if the slide lock release motor is in the lock position. Therefore, after performing a lock operation, move the seat forward and backward and check the lock engagement.

          Tech Tips

The slide lock can even be released by operating the slide lever of the seatback. However, this directly pulls the slide lock cable (for slide lever) connected to the slide lock and slide lever, and the slide lock release motor does not operate.

      6. Power Walk-in System (Models with Executive Lounge Captain Seat)

        • When the walk-in switch on the side of the outside seat or back of the seatback is pressed to the walk-in side with the vehicle stopped and no passengers seated, the reclining motor moves the seatback to the frontmost position, and the storage/lift and contraction/extension motors move the ottoman to the stored position. At the same time, the slide lock release motor installed to the slide frame releases the slide lock, making it easier for passengers to enter and exit the rear No. 2 seat. Furthermore, when the power walk-in system starts operating, the buzzer sounds once.

        • When the walk-in switch is operated while the power walk-in system operating conditions are not met, the buzzer sounds twice and the system does not operate.

        • When the walk-in switch is operated to the walk-in recovery side with the rear No. 1 seat in the walk-in condition by the power walk-in system, the reclining position moves to the neutral position at the same time as the slide lock operates to the fully locked position. Furthermore, the ottoman does not operate. Also, the slide rail and lock may not engage due to the relative position of the seat leg and slide rail, even if the slide motor is in the lock position. Therefore, after performing a walk-in recovery operation, move the seat forward and backward and check the lock engagement.

      8. Manual Walk-in System (RHD Models with Executive Lounge Captain Seat Only)

        • The manual walk-in function is provided for the rear No. 1 seat (right side), allowing the passenger to quickly move to the rear No. 2 seat.

        • When the Ottoman is deployed, a power retraction operation is performed in conjunction with a manual reclining operation.

        • After the rear No.1 seat (right side) is slid forward, it returns to the reclining position before a manual walk-in operation.

    2. Rear No. 2 Seat

      • A 50:50 split flip-up seat is used.

      • The right side seat and left side seat are independent, and are structured so that they can be flipped up.

      1. Slide and Reclining Mechanism

        • The rear No. 2 seat has a structure that allows the left and right sides to independently slide to the front and rear and recline.

        • Slide operations are performed with the slide lever on the front and rear sides of the seat cushion.

        • Reclining operations are performed with the seat side reclining lever.

      2. Flip-up Mechanism

        • When flipping a seat up, operate the lever under the seat cushion, collapse the seatback forward, then release the inner leg and floor locks.

        • After releasing the inner leg lock, the seat automatically flips up via the spring located inside the outer hinge while the inner leg is stored under the seat cushion.

        • With the rear No. 2 seat flipped up, insert the seat fixing buckle located under the seat cushion into the rear pillar lock, and secure the seat in the flipped-up state.

          Tech Tips

When flipping a seat up, align the sliding alignment marks of the seat leg. If a seat is flipped up when the sliding alignment marks are not aligned, the seat leg lock does not release.
