      *1: Olefin-based elastomers are one of the three major thermoplastic elastomers, along with vinyl chloride and styrene. An olefin-based elastomer is a thermoplastic elastomer that typically blends ethylene-propylene (EPDM or EPM) finely dispersed in polypropylene (PP). Accordingly, olefin-based elastomers are elastomers (elastic bodies) at normal temperatures and have qualities similar to rubber. However, they can also be shaped just like ordinary plastics, making them a truly unique type of synthetic resin.
