FRONT SUSPENSION SYSTEM

  1. CONSTRUCTION

    1. A lateral force reduction spring has been adopted. The center axis of the lateral force reduction spring is offset from the center of the strut axis to reduce the lateral force applied to the shock absorber. This results in less stroke friction which ensures excellent ride comfort.

    2. A semi-airtight shock absorber dust cover which is attached to the absorber cap and moves with the shock absorber has been adopted. This reduces the gap between the shock absorber dust cover and shock absorber assembly, enhancing its ability to resist the intrusion of foreign matter.

    3. The spring rate of the front coil spring is optimized to achieve excellent ride comfort.
