  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. A theft intrusion sensor (theft warning ultrasonic sensor) is provided in the map light assembly.

    2. If the intrusion sensor (theft warning ultrasonic sensor) detects an inappropriate entry into the vehicle interior or if the door glass is broken*, a warning signal is sent to the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).

    3. The theft warning radar sensor detects intruders by sending an ultrasonic wave and detecting differences in the frequency of the reflected wave.

    4. The theft warning radar sensor, which is linked to the auto alarm system, sets automatically when the system transfers to the armed state (and the setting of the auto alarm is completed).

    5. When the theft warning radar sensor detects a moving object in the vehicle or that the door glass is broken, the system transfers to the alarm state. Then, the system sounds the horn and security horn assembly intermittently and blinks the hazard warning lights for approximately 27.5 seconds and performs forced locking operation.
