CLIMATE CONTROL SEAT SYSTEM


  1. SYSTEM CONTROL


    1. If the battery voltage is low, the climate control seat system may not operate to ensure a stable supply of power for other systems. In this situation, the message "Auto Power OFF to Conserve Battery" is displayed on the multi-information display in the combination meter assembly.

  2. FUNCTION


    1. The functions of the climate control seat system are as follows:

      Function Outline
      Ventilation Function

      • By pressing the refreshing seat switch (climate control seat switch), the ventilation volume can be adjusted to 3 levels.

      • The indicator light illuminates green to indicate that the ventilation function is operating.

  3. CONSTRUCTION


    1. When the climate control seat switch is turned on, the air conditioning amplifier assembly detects the settings of the climate control switch and operates the seatback climate control blower and seat cushion climate control blower assembly in accordance with the settings.


      1. Front Seat Cushion Operation


        • Air is drawn in from back side of the seat cushion climate control blower assembly and is forced through the seat cushion pad. The air is distributed to each part of the seat cushion pad through parallel grooves in the lower layer of the pad, then flows through holes in the upper layer of the pad, and exits from perforations (small holes) in the leather of the genuine leather seat.

      2. Front Seatback Operation


        • Air that is drawn in through the seatback pad exits the seat through the climate control blower.
