OUTLINE
Starter Control (Cranking Hold Function) with Stop and Start System
A tandem solenoid type starter assembly is used. This starter uses a structure in which the flow of current is independently supplied to the motor current solenoid and the solenoid used to push out the pinion gear. Due to this, it is possible to restart the engine when the engine has been stopped but is still moving due to inertia, thereby reducing the amount of time to restart the engine during idling stop control.

Starter Control (Cranking Hold Function) without Stop and Start System
A conventional planetary reduction type starter assembly is used.
