  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. A No. 1 oil pan baffle plate provided in the upper part of the oil pan suppresses engine oil agitation to reduce friction and improve fuel economy.

    2. A concave shape is provided on the bottom of the oil pan drain plug installation area to improve serviceability by reducing the area engine oil may spray onto when draining engine oil.

    3. An engine oil level sensor is installed on the oil pan sub-assembly.
