WIPER AND WASHER SYSTEM


  1. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS

    Component Function
    Windshield Wiper Switch Assembly Sends the washer switch operation signal to the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly RH.
    Headlight Cleaner Motor and Pump Assembly Sprays the washer fluid onto the headlights.

  2. FUNCTION


    1. When the washer switch (windshield wiper switch assembly) is turned on while the low beams are illuminated after the power switch is turned on (IG), the headlight cleaner system operates once.

    2. When operating the headlight cleaner system a second time or more, when the washer switch (windshield wiper switch assembly) is turned on 5 times while the power switch is turned on (IG) and the low beams are illuminated, the headlight cleaner system operates.

      Tech Tips

      When the power switch or low beams are turned off, the headlight cleaner system operation state is reset (the number of times the windshield wiper switch assembly washer switch has been operated is reset).
