ROOF SUNSHADE SYSTEM


  1. SYSTEM CONTROL


    • The panoramic moon roof system has the following functions:

      Function Outline
      Manual Open-and-close Opens and closes the roof sunshade trim when the sunshade OPEN/CLOSE switch is pressed for less than 0.3 seconds. The roof sunshade stops as soon as the switch is released.
      One-touch Auto Open Opens the roof sunshade trim to the fully opened position when the sunshade OPEN switch is pressed for 0.3 seconds or more.
      One-touch Auto Close Fully closes the roof sunshade trim when the sunshade CLOSE switch is pressed for 0.3 seconds or more.
      Jam Protection The jam protection function automatically stops the roof sunshade trim and opens it if a foreign object gets jammed in the roof sunshade trim during close operation.

      1. To control the jam protection function, the sliding roof ECU monitors the amount of movement and judges jamming of the roof sunshade trim based on the pulse signals from Hall IC1 and the movement direction of the roof sunshade trim from the phase difference between the pulses from Hall IC1 and Hall IC2.
