  1. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS

    Component Function
    Multi-display Assembly Displays image information received from the radio receiver assembly.
    Radio Receiver Assembly
    • Plays back audio from each audio source, such as radio, CD and Bluetooth audio.

    • Sends image information such as the audio source screen and setting screen to the multi-display assembly.

    • Sends audio signals from each audio source to the speakers.*1

    • Sends audio signals from each audio source to the stereo component amplifier assembly.*2

    • Sends status information of each audio source to the combination meter assembly or headup display*3.

    Remote Touch (Remote Operation Controller Assembly)
    • Sends operation signals to the radio receiver assembly.

    • Vibrates the touchpad to provide feedback according to signals received from the radio receiver assembly.

    Rear Spoiler Sub-assembly


    • AM

    • FM-main

    • Amplifier Antenna Assembly


    • Receives radio broadcasting signals (AM/FM-main).

    • Amplifies radio broadcasting signals from the radio antenna and sends them to the radio receiver assembly.

    Window Glass Antenna Wire (Rear)


    • FM-sub

    Receives radio broadcasting signals (FM-sub).
    No. 2 Amplifier Antenna Assembly Amplifies radio broadcasting signals from the radio antenna and sends them to the radio receiver assembly.

    Window Glass Antenna Wire (Front)


    • DAB Antenna*4

    Receives radio broadcasting signals (DAB).
    No. 1 Amplifier Antenna Assembly*4 Amplifies DAB signals from the DAB antenna and sends them to the radio receiver assembly.
    Steering Pad Switch Assembly Sends operation signals, such as volume switch, mode switch and seek switch operation, to the spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly.
    Spiral Cable with Sensor Sub-assembly Sends operation signals from the steering pad switch assembly to the radio receiver assembly.
    No. 1 Stereo Jack Adapter Assembly
    • Sends audio and/or video signals to the radio receiver assembly when an auxiliary device is connected.

    • Communicates with the radio receiver assembly via a USB communication line when a USB memory device, portable audio player (USB type) or Apple product is connected.

    Combination Meter Assembly
    • Sends vehicle speed signals to the radio receiver assembly and stereo component amplifier assembly*2.

    • Displays information such as audio status information received from the radio receiver assembly on the multi-information display.

    • Sends operation signals to the radio receiver assembly when the audio system is operated via the multi-information display.

    Headup Display (Meter Mirror)*3 Receives audio source status information from the radio receiver assembly and displays the audio source status on the headup display when the steering pad switch assembly is operated.
    DCM (Telematics Transceiver)*5 Sends a part of audio signals sent from the radio receiver assembly to the speakers and also sends microphone voice signals sent from the telephone microphone to the radio receiver assembly.
    Stereo Component Amplifier Assembly*2 Amplifies audio signals sent from the radio receiver assembly and DCM*5 and sends them to the speakers.
    Front No. 1 Speaker Assembly RH*6/LH Outputs audio signals input by the stereo component amplifier assembly.
