DYNAMIC RADAR CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM

OPERATION

1. The headup display displays the set vehicle speed, vehicle ahead mark, vehicle-to-vehicle distance mark and message.

   Vehicle-to-vehicle Distance Control Mode

   Condition	Headup Display*1
   System OFF	Not Display
   Set Standby	RADAR READY
   Under Constant Speed Control (No Vehicle Ahead, Middle)
   Under Follow-up Control (Vehicle Ahead, Short)
   Under Follow-up Control (The vehicle ahead moves away when the vehicle is being driven at less than approximately 40 km/h [25 mph].)*2	Displays the "CRUISE NOT AVAILABLE" warning message.
   Approach Warning (Vehicle Ahead)
   	The vehicle-to-vehicle distance mark and vehicle ahead mark blink and the pre-collision city buzzer sounds.
   Stop Retention Control*2
   	Displays the "WAITING" warning message.
   Start Control*2
   	Displays the "PRECEDING VEHICLE MOVEMENT" warning message.
