  1. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS


    1. The main components of the front wiper deicer system have the following functions:

      Component Function
      Outer Mirror Heater Switch Assembly Sends the deicer wire operation signal to the air conditioning amplifier assembly.
      Air Conditioning Amplifier Assembly Operates and controls the front wiper deicer system in accordance with signals from the outer mirror heater switch assembly.
      Windshield Glass Windshield Deicer Wire Applies electrical current to a windshield deicer wire in the windshield glass to generate heat and remove ice from the windshield glass.

  2. SYSTEM CONTROL


    1. The front wiper deicer system is activated when the ignition switch is ON and the outer mirror heater switch assembly is pushed. The air conditioning amplifier operates the windshield deicer wire for approximately 15 minutes.
