PANORAMIC VIEW MONITOR SYSTEM


  1. OPERATION


    1. The parking assist ECU controls the on and off operations of each television camera assembly installed in the front, rear, left and right sides of the vehicle based on the status signal input via CAN communication from each ECU and sensor. The video signal of each television camera assembly is input into the parking assist ECU and combined to create the seamless panoramic view display.

    2. The parking assist ECU outputs the video signals from the panoramic view and each television camera assembly to the radio and display receiver assembly*1 or navigation receiver assembly*2. Also, the camera image combines estimated course lines calculated from the steering angle signal from the steering sensor and guide lines, etc., according to the selected mode.

    3. The Toyota parking assist-sensor system icon is displayed via communication with the clearance warning ECU assembly.
