BRAKE CONTROL SYSTEM

  1. SYSTEM CONTROL

    1. TRC helps prevent the drive wheels from slipping if the driver depresses the accelerator pedal excessively when starting off or accelerating on a slippery surface. Used simultaneously with hydraulic brake control over the drive wheels, the skid control ECU requests the ECM to perform engine output control. This produces drive force suited to the driving conditions in order to ensure proper start-off acceleration.
