CONSTRUCTION
A larger-diameter strut mounting bearing is used. Due to a larger bearing surface and smaller load variation, a lower peak bearing load is achieved, reducing steering effort and improving overall steering feel.
The offset between the coil spring insulator and strut mounting bearing has been reduced, reducing the compliance of the front suspension support sub-assembly.
An attach type shock absorber dust cover which is attached to the absorber cap and moves with the shock absorber has been adopted. This reduces the gap between the shock absorber dust cover and shock absorber assembly, enhancing its ability to resist the intrusion of foreign matter.
