MAIN FEATURES
VSC and Cooperative Control with EPS
VSC and Cooperative Control with EPS is a stability control system that integrates brake control (ABS with EBD, Brake Assist, TRC, VSC, Hill-start Assist Control, Emergency Brake Signal, Downhill Assist Control*1 and Trailer Sway Control*2) and Electric Power Steering (EPS).
*1: AWD models
*2: Models with 2GR-FKS engine
Using VSC and Cooperative Control with EPS, the brake control system and the EPS operate in a coordinated manner.
PRECAUTION
When the brake control system is activated, the brake pedal may shudder, which is a normal occurrence of the system in operation and should not be considered a malfunction.
The TRC and VSC functions control brake hydraulic pressure and engine output to ensure vehicle stability. Therefore, the VSC OFF switch (to stop the operation of the TRC and VSC functions) should be operated only when it is necessary.
