  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. An aluminum die-cast timing chain cover is used.

    2. The timing chain cover has an integrated construction consisting of the oil pump and a timing chain oil jet. Thus, the number of parts has been reduced, resulting in a weight reduction.

    3. To achieve excellent serviceability, service holes for the No. 1 chain tensioner assembly and camshaft timing gear assembly are provided on the timing chain cover sub-assembly.
