The windshield deicer system uses a heater element in the windshield glass to help reduce the formation of ice where the front wipers park.
This system is controlled by the air conditioning amplifier assembly.
Rear Window Defogger System
The rear window defogger system uses the heater wires on the back window glass to defog the back window glass.
This system is controlled by the air conditioning amplifier assembly.
The rear window defogger system operates together with the mirror heater system.

Do not use detergent containing an abrasive compound or wax to clean the front door glass.
If dirt is on the glass, do not attempt to clean it with an automatic car-wash or by opening and closing the front door glass repeatedly.
Do not attempt to scrape off ice built up on the front door glass using a metal scraper or similar tool.
