LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


  1. OUTLINE


    1. The Local Interconnect Network (LIN) consists of a bus for each related body electrical system, and is used for communication between ECUs or switches.

    2. LIN is used for the entry and start system, power window system, charging system, sliding roof system*1, air conditioning system and wiper and washer system*2.

      *1: Models with sliding roof system

      *2: Models with rain sensing function

    3. Signals transmitted via LIN can be sent to CAN through the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) with a gateway function that is also connected to CAN.
