    1. The illuminated entry system has the following functions:

      Function Outline Lights that Operate
      Actuation Area-linked When the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly enters any actuation area around the doors, the lights that operate turn on.

      • Engine Switch Illumination

      • Front Dome Light

      • Rear Dome Light

      • Foot Light LH/RH
      Electrical Key Transmitter Sub-assembly-linked When any door is unlocked using the electrical key transmitter subassembly, the lights that operate turn on.

      • Engine Switch Illumination

      • Front Dome Light

      • Rear Dome Light

      • Foot Light LH/RH

      • Front Door Inside Handle Illumination Light Assembly LH/RH

      • Rear Door Inside Handle Illumination Light Assembly LH/RH

      • Front No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly LH/RH

      • Rear No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly LH/RH

      • Footwell Light LH/RH
      Door Lock/Unlock-linked

      • When any door is unlocked, the lights that operate turn on.

      • When all doors are locked, the lights that operate turn off.

      • When any door is opened, the lights that operate turn on.

      • When all doors are closed, the lights that operate turn off.

      • When the engine switch is turned from on (ACC) or on (IG) to off, the lights that operate turn on.

      • When the engine switch is turned from off to on (ACC) or on (IG), the lights that operate turn off.

      Battery Saving When no changes occur in the condition of the doors for 20 minutes, these lights turn off.

      Shift Light Control

      • When the engine switch is on (IG) and ambient light is dark, this light turns on.

      • When the engine switch is off or ambient light is not dark, this light turns off.
