ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SYSTEM


  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. A toggle lever type parking brake has been used and shoe anchor has been separated, to make the parking brake assembly structure more simplified and lighter.

    2. The toggle lever type parking brake pivots around the lever fulcrum points 1 and 2 by pulling on the cable, resulting in extending the shoes outward.

    3. To prevent the lining from dragging, a floating type shoe anchor has been used to improve reliability.

    4. The joint between the cable and the lever has been simplified to improve serviceability.

    5. The parking brake assembly is sandwiched between the axle and the knuckle.
