ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SYSTEM


  1. OUTLINE


    1. An electric parking brake system is used.

    2. This system allows the parking brake to be operated by the actuator, and not only can operating force be reduced, but an improvement in convenience is achieved by the use of the auto function.

    3. The electric parking brake has the following functions.

      Manual Function Locks and releases the parking brake according to driver switch operations.
      Auto Function Locks and releases the parking brake according to the shift position when this function is on.
      Brake Hold Function Operates together with the brake hold function and locks the parking brake. For details, refer to the Brake Control System section.
