Aluminum monoblock brake calipers are used to achieve a lightweight yet rigid design.
There are 6 pistons with different diameters in each brake caliper. This enables an enlarged pad surface area while maintaining uniform pressure distribution across the surface of the pad.
Fluid passages to the pistons are integrated into the brake calipers to ensure reliability.
Rod bolts are used to ensure increased rigidity and easier brake pad replacement.
High friction brake pads are used to ensure stable stopping performance under all conditions.
A pad wear indicator wire assembly is provided to inform the driver of brake pad wear.
Brake pad wear is detected via an electrical circuit using the pad wear indicator wire assembly in the brake pad. Upon receiving the brake pad wear signal, the combination meter assembly informs the driver using the brake warning light /red (Malfunction), master warning light, multi-information display and buzzer.
