  1. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS


    1. Light Automatic Turn-off System

      Component Function
      Main Body ECU (Multiplex Network Body ECU) Receives various signals and turns off the exterior lights.
      Headlight Relay Shuts down power to the low beams.
      Fog Light Relay* Shuts down power to the fog lights.

      Instrument Panel Junction Block Assembly

      - Tail Relay

      		 Shuts down power to the taillights, clearance lights, and license plate lights.
      Front Door Courtesy Light Switch Assembly (Driver Side) Detects whether a door is open or closed and transmits a signal to the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).

  2. SYSTEM CONTROL


    1. The light auto turn-off system operates as follows:

      Function Operation Condition
      Headlight and Front Fog Light* Auto Turn-off

      When all of the following conditions are met, the headlights and front fog lights* automatically turn off:


      • The power switch is turned off.

      • The headlight dimmer switch is in the tail or head position.

      • The front fog light switch is on.*
      Exterior Light Auto Turn-off

      When both of the following conditions are met, the exterior lights automatically turn off:


      • The power switch is turned off.

      • The headlight dimmer switch is in the AUTO position.
