Remote Operation Mechanism
A remote operation mechanism, which folds the rear seat seatback forward by operating a rear seat fold lever (rear seat lock control lever sub-assembly) located on each side of the deck, is provided. This mechanism enables the user to increase the luggage compartment capacity without having to operate the rear seats at the rear doors.
When the rear seat fold lever (deck trim side panel assembly) is operated, the rear seat lock control lever sub-assembly is pulled, releasing the lock in the seatback inner section. At the same time, the seatback is folded forward, creating a flat luggage space.
