  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. The airbag sensor assembly incorporates the yawrate sensor and acceleration sensor.

    2. The airbag sensor assembly detects deceleration in the horizontal forward-backward and left-right directions using the signals from the yawrate sensor and acceleration sensor and transmits signals to the skid control ECU.

      Note

      After replacing the airbag sensor assembly, or the skid control ECU, initialization of the yaw rate sensor is required. For the actual procedure, refer to the Repair Manual.
