    1. The EA66 manual transaxle achieves a compact construction and excellent shift feeling due to the following items:

      Compact Construction Twin (No. 1 and No. 2) output shafts are used.
      Excellent Shift Feeling
      • Triple-cone type (for 1st gear to 3rd gear), double-cone type (for 4th gear) and single-cone type (for 5th, 6th and reverse gear) synchromesh mechanisms are used.

      • Sliding ball bearings are used for the shift fork shafts and shift and select lever shaft.

      • A rolling type lock ball is used for the shift and select lever shaft.
