  1. OUTLINE


    1. The cooling system uses a pressurized forced circulation system with pressurized reservoir tank.

    2. A thermostat with a bypass valve is located on the water inlet housing to maintain suitable temperature distribution in the cooling system. This prevents sudden jumps in temperature while the engine is warming up.

    3. A water passage is provided for cooling the EGR valve.

    4. A water-cooled oil cooler and a water-cooled EGR cooler are provided.

  2. SPECIFICATION


    1. Engine Coolant


      1. TOYOTA genuine Super Long Life Coolant (SLLC) is used.

      2. SLLC is pre-mixed (50% coolant and 50% deionized water). Therefore, no dilution is needed when SLLC in the vehicle is added or replaced.

      3. The maintenance interval is as shown in the table below.
