  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. A highly rigid stiffening crankcase assembly with integrated stiffener is used to ensure a rigid connection between the engine and clutch housing.

      Tech Tips

      By increasing the rigidity of the joint, shift lever chattering and droning noise emitted during high speed driving are prevented.

    2. The stiffening crankcase assembly has a mount with 4 bolt holes to which the compressor with pulley assembly is installed. Also, ring pins (a) are used to align the compressor with pulley assembly to ensure correct alignment and operation of the V-ribbed belt.

    3. The air conditioning compressor bracket, rear oil seal retainer (b), rear end plate (c), oil baffle plate (d) are integrated into the stiffening crankcase assembly to achieve a compact, lightweight design.
