  1. FUNCTION


    1. The ECM turns the oil pressure switching valve assembly on and off based on the ON-OFF map in accordance with the engine coolant temperature and engine load to control the oil supplied to the piston jet.

    2. At low engine coolant temperatures, fuel dilution reduction at low temperatures and improved piston temperature increase during engine start enhance fuel economy to stop oil injection from the piston jet.
