    1. Mirror Heater System (Models with Mirror Heater System)


      1. The mirror heater system uses a heater element in each mirror to help remove frost and dew from the mirrors.

      2. The mirror heaters are controlled by the air conditioning amplifier assembly*1 or No. 2 heater control sub-assembly*2.

      3. The mirror heaters operate at the same time as the rear defogger system.

      4. The mirror heaters are activated when the ignition switch is ON, and rear defogger switch is pushed. The air conditioning amplifier assembly*1 or No. 2 heater control sub-assembly*2 keeps the mirror heater on for approximately 15 minutes. Also, under the specified conditions*3, another 45 minutes (maximum) is added to the operation time.*1

        *1: Models with automatic air conditioning system

        *2: Models with manual air conditioning system

        *3: Power generated by the generator assembly is stable and outside temperature is -3°C (27°F) or lower.
