THEFT DETERRENT


  1. OUTLINE


    1. The theft deterrent system can sound the alarm when somebody attempts to forcibly enter the vehicle, open the engine hood, unlock any door without the door control transmitter assembly*1 or electrical key transmitter sub-assembly*2, or when a battery terminal is disconnected and reconnected.

      *1: Models without entry and start system

      *2: Models with entry and start system

    2. The system consists of door lock control system parts, wireless door lock control system parts, a security horn and a security indicator light.

    3. The system is controlled by the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).
