The audio systems shown below are available. For the touch screen system, enhanced navigation system functions are available by installing a navigation ECU.

Audio Head Unit
1. A Thin Film Transistor Liquid Crystal Display (TFT LCD) is used for the multi-display of the radio and display receiver assembly. The multi-display shows the audio screen, Bluetooth hands-free screen, vehicle information screen, etc. and can be operated using touch operation, flick operation* or drag operation*.

2. The radio text broadcast by FM radio stations is displayed in the radio text area, such as program information and currently broadcasted song information.*

Automatic Sound Levelizer (ASL)
1. The Automatic Sound Levelizer (ASL) function automatically adjusts the sound volume in order to enable clear audio quality even when vehicle noise increases (as vehicle noise increases, the volume is turned up, etc.).
2. Vehicle speed signals are received from the combination meter assembly and used for ASL control.

USB Audio System

A single USB port is provided. By plugging a USB hub in the USB port, up to 2 of the following items are available at once*: USB memory stick, portable audio player (USB type), iPhone, iPod, iPod classic, iPod nano or iPod touch.

Even if 3 or more USB devices are connected using a USB hub, only the first 2 connected USB devices will be recognized.

Bluetooth Hands-free System

The Bluetooth hands-free system allows the user to make or receive a call without taking their hands off the steering wheel when the system is linked with a Bluetooth-compatible cellular phone.

Tech Tips

The touch screen system is compatible with the PIM (Personal Information Manager) applications.
The operation of the interrupt call function of the Bluetooth hands-free system may vary with the Bluetooth phone or the telephone company that is used.

"Bluetooth" is a trademark owned by Bluetooth SIG, Inc.
Some profiles described above may not be supported in the system depending on the audio head unit equipped.
If the specification of the connected Bluetooth phone is lower than the recommended or does not support the functions required, the available functions may be limited.
Registration and connection of a Bluetooth phone is not available when only Dial-up Networking Profile (DUN), Object Push Profile (OPP), Phone Book Access Profile (PBAP) and MAP (Message Access Profile) are supported.
The connection history with Bluetooth devices that is stored in memory of the radio receiver assembly can be checked using the Global TechStream (GTS).

Application (Models with Touch Screen System or Display Audio System)
1. By operating the application, which is preinstalled in the radio and display receiver assembly, with on-screen commands on the multi-display, functions such as the e-mail function and MirrorLink function can be used.
Steering Pad Switch Assembly
1. Switches that the driver often uses are provided on the steering wheel for convenience.
2. Due to the adoption of a 4 way switch, back and enter switches, the driver can operate the audio and Bluetooth hands-free functions without taking their hands off the steering wheel. (Models with touch screen system or display audio system)

Available applications are listed in the following table:

Preinstall Application	E-mail	When a Bluetooth phone is connected to the radio and display receiver assembly, e-mails and Short Message Service (SMS) messages received on the phone can be displayed or read out. In addition, it is possible to reply to the received e-mail and send Short Message Service (SMS) messages.*3
	Picture*1	When a USB device is connected to the radio and display receiver assembly, pictures stored in the USB memory can be displayed on the multi-display as well as played as a slide show.*4
	MirrorLink*2	To utilize the MirrorLink function, it is necessary to connect a compatible smartphone*5 to the radio and display receiver assembly using a USB cable. After a connection is established, the screen of the smartphone is displayed on the multi-display. Using this screen, the user can operate applications installed on the smartphone and listen to the audio of the smartphone via the vehicles speakers.
	Toyota Eurocare*1	With a Bluetooth phone connected to the radio and display receiver assembly, a call*6 to Toyota Eurocare can be made. Upon receiving the information from the GPS satellite, the vehicle's current location is displayed on the Toyota Eurocare call screen so that the user will be able to promptly tell the operator the current location of the vehicle.
