  1. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS

    Component Function
    Radio Receiver Assembly*1
    • Plays back audio from each audio source, such as radio and CD.*2

    • Plays back audio from each audio source, such as radio, CD and Bluetooth audio.*3

    • External input terminals (USB port and AUX port) are located on the front panel.

    • Sends audio signals from each audio source to the speakers.

    Radio and Display Receiver Assembly*4
    • Plays back audio from each audio source, such as radio, CD and Bluetooth audio.

    • Sends audio signals from each audio source to the speakers.

    • Sends status information of each audio source to the combination meter assembly.

    • Sends call information of a phone call received on a users' cellular phone connected via Bluetooth, to the combination meter assembly.

    Navigation ECU*5 Enables the use of Bluetooth function and navigation function when installed to the radio and display receiver assembly.

    Receives radio broadcasting signals (AM/FM).
    No. 1 Amplifier Antenna Assembly Amplifies radio broadcasting signals from the radio antenna and sends them to the radio receiver assembly*1 or radio and display receiver assembly*4.
    Steering Pad Switch Assembly Sends operation signals from switches such as the volume switch, mode switch and seek switch to the spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly.
    Spiral Cable with Sensor Sub-assembly Sends operation signals from the steering pad switch assembly to the radio receiver assembly*1 or radio and display receiver assembly*4.
    Map Light Assembly Houses the telephone microphone assembly.
    Telephone Microphone Assembly Recognizes speech during a hands-free call or voice recognition system operation and sends the audio signal to the radio receiver assembly*1*3*5, radio and display receiver assembly*4*6 or telematics transceiver*7.
    No. 1 Stereo Jack Adapter Assembly*4
    • Sends audio signals to the radio and display receiver assembly when an auxiliary device is connected.

    • Communicates with the radio and display receiver assembly via a USB communication line when a USB memory device, portable audio player (USB type) or Apple product is connected.

    Combination Meter Assembly
    • Sends vehicle speed signals to the radio receiver assembly*1, radio and display receiver assembly*4 or telematics transceiver*7.

    • Displays information such as audio status information received from the radio and display receiver assembly on the multi-information display.*4

    • Sends operation signals to the radio and display receiver assembly when the audio system is operated via the multi-information display.*4

    Telematics Transceiver (DataCommunicationModule)*7
    • Sends a part of audio signals sent from the radio and display receiver assembly to the speakers.

    • Sends microphone voice signals sent from the telephone microphone to the radio receiver assembly*1 or radio and display receiver assembly*4.
