  1. FUNCTION


    1. Depressing the clutch pedal and pressing the engine switch once will operate the starter continuously until the engine has started completely. Operability and starting operation have thereby been improved.

    2. If the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) and ECM detect a start signal, the ECM will monitor the engine speed signal (NE) and send a starter activation request signal to the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) using CAN communication until the ECM determines that the engine has started completely. The certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) activates the starter based on a signal from the ECM.
