  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. Long-reach, thin-electrode type iridium-tipped spark plugs are used. This type of spark plugs allows the area of the cylinder head sub-assembly to receive the spark plugs to be made thick. Thus, the water jacket can be extended near the combustion chamber, which contributes to cooling performance.

    2. Iridium-tipped spark plugs improve ignition performance while maintaining the same durability as platinum-tipped spark plugs.

      Tech Tips

      Be sure to use a spark plug wrench of the proper size because the size of the spark plugs is different from conventional spark plugs.
