      1. The 1NR-FE engine is a 1.3-liter, 16-valve DOHC, in-line 4-cylinder gasoline engine. This engine uses the Direct Ignition System (DIS), Dual Variable Valve Timing-intelligent (VVT-i) system and Electronic Throttle Control System-intelligent (ETCS-i). These systems achieve improved engine performance, fuel economy and clean emissions.

    6. EC65A Multi-mode Manual Transaxle


      1. An EC65A 6-speed multi-mode manual transaxle is used on multi-mode manual transaxle models with the 1ND-TV engine.

      2. The multimode manual transaxle is a manual transaxle with a clutch actuator assembly and shift and select actuator assembly. The operations of the clutch actuator assembly and shift and select actuator assembly are controlled by the TCM.
