OUTLINE
The theft deterrent system is controlled by the main body ECU. The theft deterrent system will operate when an attempt is made to forcibly enter the vehicle or open the engine hood, when the battery terminals are removed and reconnected, when window glass is broken, when objects moving in the cabin are detected*1, or when the vehicle is determined to be sloping*1.
The system consists of door lock control system parts, wireless door lock control system parts*2, entry and start system parts*3, a security horn*4, a self-power siren*5, a print pattern type glass breakage sensor*1, an intrusion sensor*1, tilt sensor*1 and a security indicator light.
