AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SYSTEM


  1. OUTLINE


    1. An AC60F 6-speed Electronic Control Transmission (ECT) is used on the models with 2TR-FE, 1GR-FE or 1GD-FTV engine.

    2. This automatic transmission is provided with a wide gear ratio, achieving superior output performance and fuel economy. Also, by simplifying the structure, size and weight reduction is achieved.

    3. A gate type shift lever is used.

    4. A multi-mode automatic transmission is used.

    5. A shift pattern select system is used.

    6. One of the following 3 types of the ATF cooling system is available depending on the model.

      ATF Cooling System Water-cooled Type ATF Cooler
      Water-cooled Type ATF Cooler and Air-cooled Type ATF Cooler
      Water-cooled Type ATF Cooler and ATF Warmer (Transmission Oil Cooler with Thermostat Assembly)
