LUBRICATION SYSTEM


  1. OUTLINE


    1. The lubrication circuit is fully pressurized and all oil passes through an oil cooler and an oil filter.

    2. A trochoid oil pump driven by a gear engaged with the crankshaft is used.

    3. A water-cooled type engine oil cooler is located on the cylinder block.

    4. An aluminum laminate type oil cooler assembly is used to achieve weight reduction and high efficiency heat exchange.

    5. Oil nozzle sub-assemblies that lubricate and cool the piston are provided.
