OUTLINE
An L210 hybrid vehicle transmission assembly is used. Combined with an inline 4-cylinder 2AR-FSE engine, a smooth drive is realized.
This hybrid vehicle transmission is a compact and lightweight electrical continuously variable transmission. It incorporates Motor Generator No. 1 (MG1) for charging and supplying power to drive the vehicle, Motor Generator No. 2 (MG2) for assisting engine output as an additional power source working in conjunction with the engine depending on the situation, the power split device for splitting the engine output and motor output into power to drive the wheels as well as splitting MG1 output, and the reduction gear which reduces the speed of MG2 and amplifies its torque, achieving both excellent power performance and low fuel consumption.
A sequential shiftmatic system is used, enabling the driver to select the engine braking force. In addition, the hybrid system control allows for excellent response when accelerating and decelerating.
Through the adoption of a compact, lightweight oil pump and the optimized oil lubrication passage, excellent cooling and lubrication performance is realized.
An oil adding method using the filler plug hole is adopted for adding transmission fluid, inspecting and adjusting the fluid level. For details, refer to the Repair Manual.
