  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. A lightweight and high-strength aluminum cylinder head cover sub-assembly is used.

    2. An oil delivery pipe is installed inside the cylinder head cover sub-assembly. This ensures lubrication to the sliding parts of the No. 1 valve rocker arm sub-assemblies, improving reliability.

    3. An oil separator (ventilation case sub-assembly) is provided in the blow-by gas passage inside the cylinder head cover sub-assembly. This separates the engine oil from the blow-by gas in order to reduce oil degradation and reduce the amount of engine oil consumed.

    4. Acrylic rubber, which excels in heat resistance and reliability, is used for the cylinder head cover gasket.

    5. The camshaft timing oil control valve assemblies are installed in the cylinder head cover sub-assembly. This simplifies oil passage.
