Aero Stabilizing Fin
An aero stabilizing fin is provided on the front pillar and on the rear combination light lens for enhanced aerodynamics.
After passing the aero stabilizing fin, the air speed will increase and a vortex will be generated.
This vortex increases the speed of the surrounding air while at the same time pulling the airflow towards the vehicle body.
The high speed airflow streams closely down both sides of the vehicle body and cleanly separates from the rear of the vehicle. This helps hold the vehicle body in position, thus stabilizing the vehicle.

Lexus Display Audio System
The Lexus display audio system is a radio receiver assembly equipped with a 7.0-inch pressure sensitive touch panel, ensuring ease of use.
The following are provided: AM/FM tuner, CD player, AUX (USB and iPod) jacks, Bluetooth hands-free function and Bluetooth audio function.
Lexus Display Audio Controller (Models with Lexus Display Audio System)
The Lexus display audio controller is used to allow for intuitive operations linked with the multi-display.
Navigation System
The navigation system is a radio receiver assembly equipped with a wide 7.0-inch display and Remote Touch, ensuring ease of use.
The following are provided: AM/FM tuner, DVD player, AUX (USB and iPod) jacks, Bluetooth hands-free function, Bluetooth audio function and parking assist monitor function.
Remote Touch (Models with Navigation System)
The Remote Touch is used to allow for intuitive operations linked with the multi-display.
The Remote Touch provides force feedback to the user's hand in accordance with changes in the display.
The precision feedback, tactile sensation and a quality feel offered by this system achieve excellent operability.
Lane Departure Alert System
The lane departure alert system uses a lane departure warning camera to detect lane markers on the road surface and activates the lane departure warning by sounding the skid control buzzer assembly when necessary.

Pre-crash Safety System
The pre-crash safety system brings the brake control system to the Brake Assist standby condition and performs a pre-crash brake operation before a collision in an attempt to lessen impact to the occupants.
Blind Spot Monitor System
The blind spot monitor system performs 2 functions using the same blind spot monitor sensors: blind spot monitor function and rear cross traffic alert function.*

The blind spot monitor function uses sensors to detect vehicles that are traveling in the vehicle's blind spot, helping the driver to confirm safety when changing lanes.

If the rear cross traffic alert function detects a vehicle in the rear side direction while the driver is reversing in a parking lot, the function alerts the driver by sounding the rear cross traffic alert buzzer and flashing the outer rear view mirror indicator light to provide information for the driver, supporting decision making.*

Pop Up Hood
A pop up hood is newly adopted in consideration of reducing pedestrian injuries due to impact against the engine hood panel in the event of a collision. The adoption of the pop up hood ensures a sporty form and pedestrian protection.
If the front bumper collides with an object, a pedestrian detection chamber assembly in the front bumper cover receives impact energy. The pressure sensors (pedestrian protection sensor RH/LH) detect the collision and send a collision signal to the airbag sensor assembly.
The airbag sensor determines if a collision has occurred based on the signal from the pressure sensors (pedestrian protection sensor RH/LH) and sends an ignition signal to the pop-up hood lifter assembly installed under the hood hinge.
On receiving the ignition signal from the airbag sensor assembly, the pop up hood lifter assembly pushes the piston upwards, causing the rear of the hood to be rapidly lifted to make clearance between the hood panel and the upper part of the engine. This helps reduce the impact to a pedestrian, such as to the head.
