WIPER AND WASHER SYSTEM


  1. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS

    Component Function
    No. 1 Headlight ECU Sub-assembly RH Receives signals from the windshield washer motor and pump assembly and No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH, and controls the headlight cleaner motor and pump assembly.
    Windshield Washer Motor and Pump Assembly Sends the washer motor and pump signal to the No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly RH.
    Headlight Cleaner Motor and Pump Assembly Sends washer fluid to the headlight cleaner actuator sub-assembly in accordance with signals from the No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly RH.
    Main Body ECU (Multiplex Network Body ECU) Sends the headlight low beam illumination signal to the No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH.
    Headlight Cleaner Actuator Sub-assembly LH/RH Sprays washer fluid onto the headlights.
