LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


  1. OUTLINE


    1. The Local Interconnect Network (LIN) consists of a bus for each related body electrical system, and is used for communication between ECUs or switches.

    2. LIN is used for the smart access system with push-button start, power window system, sliding roof system, air conditioning system, wiper and washer system and double lock system.

    3. Signals transmitted via LIN can be sent to CAN through the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) with a gateway function that is also connected to CAN. However, the power window system, sliding roof system, wiper and washer system and double lock system is not connect to the CAN.
