    1. Sidewalls have been made sloped. As a result, it is possible to support the combustion load closer to the center of the piston, and the walls under the lands and the top portions are made thinner, achieving weight reduction and supporting high output engines.

    2. The sliding surface of the skirt area is provided with a new type of surface treatment using this treatment, the skirt surface coated with resin becomes smoother. As a result, the friction with the bore is greatly reduced, and gets lower friction than ever.

    3. An optimal resin coating is newly used on the sliding surface of the skirt area and improves initial conformability and achieves low friction.
